Q. Can the fireproof boxes be secured to the floor?

Drilling through the bottom of the box, while possible, will reduce the fire and water resistance of the fireproof box. If you need to protect valuables from theft we recommend that you purchase a front opening steel fireproof safe.

Just the job for storing those important documents we all keep at home. The only aspect I would change would be to add a handle. I keep ours under the bed and it is a bit difficult to pull it out as there is nothing to hold on to. Otherwise absolutely fine.
