The Ei160e series of 230V mains powered smoke and heat alarms are fitted with a lifetime self-charging back-up battery designed to last the full 10 year life of the alarms without requiring replacement. There are three versions of alarms available; ionisation, optical and heat, providing the optimum detection for different areas of the property. Up to 12 alarms can be hard-wire interlinked to form a smoke alarm system.
