Technical Data
Astroflame fire rated luminaire canopies are designed to stop the passage of fire and smoke through fire rated ceilings where recessed downlights are fitted. Without a canopy fitted, fire and smoke can penetrate the ceiling void or the room above in seconds endangering both lives and property. The Astroflame luminaire canopy provides 60 minutes of fire protection whilst at the same time allowing heat from the light fitting to dissipate safely through the cover.
