Utilising 63kg of Monnex powder, this Britannia Norfolk wheeled extinguisher is ideal for industrial-scale Class B (flammable liquid) and Class C (flammable gas) fires, as it can also be used on fires that occur near live electrical equipment. Monnex powder has been designed to expand in contact with high temperatures, greatly increasing the surface area affected by the powder and quickly extinguishing the fire. Due to the large amount of powder in this model it can support continuous discharge for up to 50 seconds, though is more effective than this implies due to the afforementioned expansive property.
