Available with or without alarm, storage cabinets help to protect defibrillators (AEDs) from misuse, as well as providing a recognisable central location where the defibrillator is to be kept whilst not in use. Wall mounted storage cabinets allow defibrillators to remain fully visible and accessible for a responder to obtain quickly in the event of an emergency. Defibrillators tend to be installed inside a building; however, for many applications such as work sites and public access community areas, we offer a range of cabinets designed for outdoor installation of your defibrillator.

If someone has suffered a suspected cardiac arrest you should call the emergency services immediately, if you do not already know, they will be able to tell you where the nearest public access defibrillator (PAD) is located. If it has a code lock, they will also tell you the access number to be able to open the cabinet. The British Heart Foundation (BHF) has set up the Defib Finder where you can use your smartphone’s location service or enter the town / postcode of your location and it will show you where the nearest defibrillator is to you. This could be especially useful if you are on holiday or working away from home and you may not be as familiar with your surroundings.
