Easichange® Replacement Heat Alarm for BRK 690MRL

The BRKEHL Easichange® kit replaces the alarm head for the BRK 690MRL heat alarm powered by a lithium battery. The kit contains a BRK 690MRL alarm head, Easichange® tool, product manual and Quick Change Guide, plus an adhesive reminder note to stick on your fuse box.

Just like the 690MRL you are replacing, the BRKEHL is a mains powered heat alarm with a sealed lithium backup battery that will ensure you remain safe even in the event of a power cut. The heat alarm is designed to be installed in kitchens where a traditional smoke alarm may be falsely triggered by normal cooking fumes. The replacement fits on to your existing BRK 690MRL alarm base making installation quick and easy.

The simple installation process of the Easichange® replacement kits negates the need for an electrician, though you must ensure that mains power to all interlinked alarms is cut before beginning work. The interlink wire can carry a live electric current between alarms if they are powered from different circuits.
