Site alarms allow manual fire alarms to be raised where a smoke detection system is not feasible or not installed yet. Providing a temporary alarm system, they can be used for any emergency that requires evacuation of the site such as fires, chemical spills, or other dangerous incidents. Typical examples of where site alarms would be installed are construction sites, music festivals, outdoor events, and temporary structures such as container accommodation.
While most site alarms are standalone, Evacuator also has a wireless range with models that interlink via radio-frequency so that all connected devices work together. A basic system could include just Call Points, but Synergy+ also allows for automatic smoke and heat detectors (compatible with all Apollo Series 65 conventional detector heads) and other advanced features such as First Aid call buttons, remote monitoring via SMS notification and a web portal, and activating external devices or systems from the Relay Interface unit. The optional Base Station provides real-time system overview via the full-colour touchscreen, enables easy system-wide testing and resetting, allows for devices to be grouped into Zones, and stores an event log. Synergy+ supports up to 250 devices per system, up from 40 units in the old Synergy RF range, and has 2km line-of-sight range with improved battery life of up to 3 years.
Please Note: The Synergy+ range is not compatible with the previous Synergy RF range.
