This Fire Hose Cabinet provides a central location to store and protect your fire hose, safety equipment and documents.
Fire extinguisher cabinets are designed to protect fire fighting equipment from conditions such as weather and dirt ingress, as well as discouraging misuse or theft of this equipment. Many cabinets are fitted with clear vision panels to allow for easy identification of the extinguisher, in particular the gauge, which is stored inside. These cabinets are often sealed shut, this can be either by clip-lock seals or clamps, anti-tamper seals, or locks where the key is located on the cabinet itself for easy access. For cabinets that are intended for outside use, should have an IP rating. This rating demonstrates how well a cabinet can withstand harsh conditions which can be experienced outside, especially from water ingress.
Fire extinguisher covers are designed to protect extinguishers from dust and accidental damage while ensuring that they remain easy to access in an emergency. Offering a cost-effective way to protect your extinguishers, but are more suited for use indoors and where there is a reduced risk of accidental damage or misuse.
Additional levels of protection can be added around firefighting equipment, such as anti-theft alarms. These are designed purely for security purposes and to deter misuse of the equipment. There are two types of anti-theft alarms, those that use contact clips and those that use magnetic reed switches, that can be installed on cabinets or attached to extinguishers. Once installed, acting as a deterrent for misuse and theft, provide a warning sound up to 98dB when activated through the removal of the extinguisher from its stand, mounting bracket, or when the extinguisher cabinet is opened.
