Different types of Fire Hose Reels
A fixed hose reel is secured flat against the wall and cannot be rotated whilst a swinging hose reel is fixed to a wall on a hinge allowing it to swing out towards the direction required when in use. With a manually-operated hose reel, the water requires activating by a gate valve. With an automatic hose reel, the water supply is activated automatically when the hose is pulled.
