Automatic fire extinguishers, containing pressurised inert gas, which leaves no residue. This minimises clean-up after a fire. Designed for server towers and other areas where powder cannot be used. When the temperature in the compartment or room reaches 79°C, the extinguisher automatically discharges and smothers the fire.

Q. I am looking at the 2Kg FE36 automatic extinguisher. Can you please let me know what size of room a 2kg is suitable for if the room has computer equipment in it.

The extinguisher is suitable for rooms or compartments of 3.4 cubic metre size. It is designed for computer cupboards and racks and other vulnerable equipment.
