With a guaranteed lifespan of 10 years and without the need for battery replacements during its lifespan, the Kidde 10 Year combination carbon monoxide and smoke alarm is a great cost and space saver. Ideal for use in homes with gas or solid fuel heating and cooking appliances. Protection against two of the biggest risks in the home combined in a single unit. The latest optical detection technology greatly reduces the number of false alarms, while a dedicated carbon monoxide sensor warns occupants to the presence of this deadly gas which is undetectable by human senses. The alarm produces two different alarm sounds depending on which hazard has been detected. It also gives both a visible and audible warning when it nears the end of its 10 year life.
