Ideal for living rooms, bedrooms, hallways, landings, and most other rooms where there is a no excessive dust, steam, or fumes to cause nuisance false activations. Powered by a 9V battery, it is capable of providing power for up to two years under typical use. Battery warning chirps can be silenced for 24 hours, providing a quiet night, while leaving the smoke alarm fully functional.
