The LifeVac is an anti-choking device with a simple 3-step process; place, push, pull! It is non-invasive and causes no risk of damaging the oral cavity or further restricting the airway by forcing the object further down. Choking can kill in less than 10 minutes; with the very young, elderly and people with certain medical conditions being at increased risk. In choking cases, sometimes traditional methods of dislodging the blockage can be unsuccessful, with effective back or abdominal thrusts being more difficult to carry out on wheelchair users or people taller than the rescuer. In these instances, having a LifeVac to hand either at home, on the move or in your workplace could save a life.
The LifeVac is supplied with a number of different sized masks, making it suitable for use on young children as well as adults. The LifeVac can be used on patients that are laying down and is also effective in patients sitting up either with the rescuer in front or behind.
The LifeVac is the official and original anti-choking device. It's simple 3-step operation allows the user to quickly clear anything obstructing the airway. This kit is ideal for care homes, schools & nurseries and public buildings.

Effective anti-choking devices are a relatively new medical aid and are proving very successful at saving more people from choking incidences than traditional methods alone. The LifeVac non-invasive Airway Clearance Device (ACD) has a patented one-way safety valve system, meaning when no more air can be forced through the mask. When pulled, this generates the perfect amount of suction to dislodge an obstruction in the upper airway. One of the many benefits of the LiveVac ACD is that it can be used on wheelchair users, pregnant or obese patients where back and / or abdominal thrusts could be ineffective or cause further harm. It is even possible to use the LifeVac on yourself should you experience a choking emergency while on your own. As of the end of 2024 the LifeVac anti-choking device has saved a reported 3236 lives.

Place the Mask: Position the LifeVac mask over the person's mouth and nose to create a seal.
Push the Plunger: Push the plunger down to create a vacuum.
Pull the Plunger: Quickly pull the plunger back to generate suction, which helps to dislodge the obstruction from the airway.
