Technical Data
The wireless interface allows for the Megalarm base alarm unit and devices to interconnect with an existing fire alarm system. A site may need to temporarily expand its working area, meaning that additional fire alarm protection would be required. The interface module is powered by 12V via the existing wired fire alarm panel.
- Acts as a relay unit
- Designed for use with the Megalarm Base Alarm Unit
- Used to connect the Megalarm system to other equipment such as transmitters and fire alarm panels
- Suitable for interconnection with an unlimited number of existing wired smoke detectors
- Can be installed up to 100m away from the Megalarm Base Alarm Unit in open area condition
