FD30 or FD60 fire resistance
Prevent the spread of smoke and fire with our certified fire-rated doors, performance tested to BS 476 Part 22. Choose from a 30 or 60 minute rating for your front door depending on the requirements of your building. The heavy-duty core provides both fire resistance and acoustic sound reduction up to 35dB.
PAS 24 – enhanced security performance
Our fire resistant front doors are also tested to the PAS 24 security standard. This ensures enhanced standards of protection against intruders and vandalism. They are all fitted with a Winkhaus AV2 multi-point locking system, which is also approved by the Police ‘Secured by Design’ security initiative.
Made to measure doors in a range of finishes
Our internal flat front doors are made to measure in the UK to your specifications. We also offer a measuring service for flat entrance doors to ensure an exact fit if you require assistance. They are available in a wide range of finishes including natural timber veneers, coloured high-pressure laminates or a painted finish in a wide selection of RAL colours.
Customise your flat front door with fixtures and fittings
All of our internal flat entrance doors are supplied with an overhead surface-mounted door closer. Choose from a selection of lever handles to customise your front door, and add an optional fire and security rated letterbox or spyhole if required.
Flat front door delivery and installation
When we have made your fire resistant front door, we will contact you to arrange delivery. We have a one-off delivery charge to each location regardless of the number of doors you order. Deliveries to Islands and remote locations may incur additional delivery costs.
All fire resistant doors should be fitted by a competent installer – installation that does not meet the manufacturer’s specifications could invalidate the certification and could mean that your fire resistant door will not stop the spread of smoke and fire. Our qualified team can install your door to ensure optimum performance.
PAS 24 Security Standards
PAS 24: 2022 is a stringent security standard developed by BSI (British Standards Institution) that sets a benchmark for the performance of doors for security. It tests the performance of doors and windows against burglary attempts and vandalism. To comply with current building regulations, all new or refurbished residential dwellings should have windows and doors that have passed PAS 24 security testing. Some insurance policies may also require PAS 24 doors and windows to be fitted.
