Our trained engineers offer a nationwide service, carrying out the servicing of your fire alarms and devices in accordance with BS 5839-1, to ensure your sounders activate when required and to ensure your legal obligations are met. Different sized buildings require a different number of detectors; our fire alarm servicing pricing ensures that the more devices you have, the cheaper the price per unit. A fire alarm service will include:
For buildings with more than 60 devices - please contact us for a bespoke quotation.
We also offer an emergency attendance helpline for those unexpected faults that may occur outside of typical business operating hours (18:00 – 08:00). If your fire alarm system develops a fault during these times, please call our freephone number found on your service sticker or paperwork. One of our engineers will first try to diagnose and rectify the issue with you on the phone. If further maintenance is required, or the engineer is unable to solve the problem over the phone, the office will make arrangements for an engineer to attend within 24 hours. For more information on pricing, please view our Emergency Visit Charges.
Our emergency lighting technicians complete all necessary testing and servicing on your escape lighting to ensure that your building has adequate lighting in an emergency. Larger buildings generally require more emergency light fittings; our emergency light servicing is priced such that the more lights which require servicing, the cheaper the unit price per light. An emergency lighting service will include:
For buildings with more than 45 devices - please contact us for a bespoke quotation.
If the engineer identifies any faults or additional work required to ensure you meet your legal obligations, you will be notified during the visit. Where possible the engineer will request authorisation while on-site and complete the remedial work immediately. However, where this is not possible, we will provide you with a quote for re-attendance to carry out the necessary remedial works. For more information on pricing, please see our Remedial Visit Costs.
The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 places the onus of responsibility on the owner / business. Employers and owners of premises must carry out their own, documented Fire Risk Assessment and manage their fire risks and remedial actions.
