To allow fire doors to be automitcally released at night, the Dorgard can be set to release at a pre-set time and will then not operate as a hold-open device until the following morning.
The available night time release options are:
Dip Switch 1 | ON = Release at 20:00hrs - Operational 08:00hrs |
Dip Switch 2 | ON = Release at 21:00hrs - Operational 07:00hrs |
Dip Switch 1 & 2 | ON = Release at 22:00hrs - Operational 06:00hrs |
Dip Switch 3 | ON = Disabled night time release warning tone |
Dip Switch 4 | No function available |
To use the night time realease function, the Dorgard's internal clock needs to be set by inserting the batteries at 12:00 noon. Otherwise the Dorgard will release at the wrong times. The dip swith selections should be made prior to installation.
