    [content] => <p>The ECSG950 and ECSG955 Smart+Shield models for Panic Bars and Push Bars feature a pre-alarm function which is not available for other types of emergency exit locking mechanisms. By using the included Trigger Angle, two pieces of red plastic with a thin red tether, the Smart+Shield can detect not only the emergency exit being opened, but also light depressions of the panic or push bar.</p>
<p>If the panic or push bar is only lightly pressed, not enough to actually open the emergency exit, then the Smart+Shield will sound an alarm that self-resets when the hardware is released without opening the exit. If the bar is fully depressed and the exit opened then the full alarm will sound which will require resetting properly, either by a pre-determined auto-reset or by manually resetting the integrated keyswitch.</p>
