The key components are two robust pieces of red plastic as well as appropriate magnetic plates and reed contacts, included with your purchase, which are collectively named the Trigger Angle. These components connect to the exposed green switch plate on the alarm and rest either in front of or behind your exit hardware, monitoring for any pressure applied to them.</p>
