<p>We guarantee a minimum of 36 activations within a period of 12 months. If the unit is tested once a month then the battery will last in excess of 2 years. If there are no activations the battery will last in excess of 4 years.

<h2>How do I set it up / is it difficult to set up?</h2>
<p>The device is configured very simply by sending the unit a configuration SMS from a mobile phone. Simply  prepare the configuration SMS, press the test button to awaken the device and wait 60 seconds, then press send on the prepared configuration SMS.

<h2>What’s the minimum top up on the SIM card?</h2>
<p>The minimum top up is £10 and this provides 250 SMS text messages.

<h2>Which carrier does it use and what if I have no coverage?</h2>
<p>We currently use the O2 network. If you have no mobile coverage in your area then the device will not be able to communicate with the mobile providers and will not work. Please check www.02.co.uk/coveragechecker to see whether you have signal in your area.

<h2> What if we run out of credit?</h2>
You can check you online Giffgaff account to see your credit although we would advise activating the “auto-top up” function on your account to ensure you always have credit.</p>
