<li>Maintain the Safelincs ICT Network under the guidance of the IT Manager (around half of your work  time). You should be able to independently maintain the entire IT infrastructure to cover the IT Manager when on holiday/off sick.</li>
<li>Develop Safelincs’ amazon and ebay presence and increase sales through these platforms under the guidance of the Commercial Development Manager (around half the time). Work with amazon partners and suppliers to maximise the turnover and profit from these channels.</li>

<h3>IT Administrator</h3>
<h4>System Maintenance</h4>
<ul class="roles">
<li>Ensure the smooth running of Alford based ICT Network</li>
<li>Maintain servers, workstations, software, network equipment, printers and telecommunications</li>
<li>Ensure data and system backups are carried out</li>
<li>Act pro-actively in disaster prevention and recovery</li>
<li>Protect systems from external attacks, internal misuse and attacks</li>
<li>Software Updates, firewalls, anti-virus, malware, spyware, SPAM and computer monitoring)</li>
<li>Portable Appliance Testing (PAT)</li>
<li>Electricity Monitoring</li>
<li>Proactively seek system improvements</li>
<li>It is necessary to work some of your hours at weekends or at evening to avoid disruption of systems in the office during work hours</li>

<h4>IT Training/Support</h4>

<li>Provide relevant ICT training and support for employees</li>
</ul>
<h3>Amazon and eBay Specialist</h3>
<h4>Product Listings</h4>
<ul class="roles">
<li>Add products under Safelincs identities</li>
<li>Work with amazon partners to increase their range of products purchased from Safelincs</li>
<li>Work with Product Managers to increase and improve our offering</li>
<li>Identify end of line and other low cost products for placement on Amazon and eBay</li>
</ul>
<h4>Marketing on Amazon/eBay</h4>
<ul class="roles">
<li>Develop marketing on amazon and ebay both as sellers and 3rd party advertisers</li>
<li>Analyse paid-for marketing on amazon and ebay</li>
<li>Optimise rankings of our amazon/ebay listings in search engines</li>
<li>Optimise our positioning within amazon and ebay</li>
<li>Ensure our products are seen at the top of amazon and ebay listings</li>
</ul>

<h4>Work With Partners</h4>

<li>Learn from our amazon partners</li>
<li>Ensure we do not unnecessarily compete against our own partners</li>
</ul>
<h4>Other Platforms</h4>
<ul class="roles">
<li>Identify other similar platforms and expand to these, implementing all steps to list and manager products on these platforms</li>
