Dali Lighting Systems

DALI (Digital Addressable Lighting Interface) Lighting systems provide conformity to the International IEC 62386 standard, enabling a single control panel to monitor all the luminaires within a system.

With DALI lighting standardising the functionality of emergency lighting units, models supplied by any manufacturer can be used in the same system. DALI light units are designed to be fitted throughout a building and linked to one central control panel, to which the status of each luminaire is fed back via the Autotest facility that undertakes the requisite maintenance tests on a scheduled basis. Light settings can be altered on individual units, timer programmes and testing regularity can be controlled, and differing levels of access can be granted to multiple operators.

Within one DALI lighting system there can be a maximum of 120 units labelled 0–119, which can be added to the control panel as addressable units (i.e. each with its own unique address) so that the location of each light is also recorded on the interface. For larger applications, DALI control panels can be networked, to a maximum of 10 panels, to allow multiple systems within one larger system, essentially turning the individual systems into zones within it.

Our range of UK manufactured DALI lights are available for supply 1–14 working days from the date of order. All the lights in our range can be supplied with DALI functionality covering DALI emergency light bulkheads, DALI emergency exit signs and boxes and DALI twinspots and LED lights. Our standard emergency lighting luminaires can also be upgraded to have DALI capability. We cater for bespoke lighting requirements and can help you with both new and existing emergency lighting systems.
