You will be required to communicate and meet with our larger customers to further develop relationships, increase sales volumes and help our clients find cost-effective fire safety solutions. You will travel approximately 2-3 days per week in a company pool car.
You will be required to do the following:
In addition you will support the office based sales team with their incoming customer communication, deal with customer enquiries and generate sales through the appropriate systems.
You will need to be able to work flexible hours when visiting customers.
Requirements: Excellent English and Maths skills, confidence when speaking to an audience, adaptable communication skills and a full clean driving licence. Previous negotiation experience would be an advantage but not essential. Extensive product training will be given.
Salary dependent on experience. We have the expectation for this role to develop further.

The role is full time with the possibility to start as soon as possible. Salary dependent on experience.
You are expected to identify new business/public/church and trade customers and to pro-actively call and subsequently visit them. To follow up leads passed to you by sales team.
The sales methods applied must be ethical and follow the company style of Safelincs. We do not allow pressure sales or over-selling of fire safety equipment above the minimum legal requirements. Safelincs, however, encourages cross-selling and the pro-active identification of currently unmet needs of the customer.
Maintain and develop large or important existing customers by contacting and visiting regularly (courtesy visits) to follow up opportunities and repeat servicing.
Minimum turnover targets are set by the company to ensure wage and overhead costs are covered. Repeat orders of regular customers maintained by BDM are included in this turnover.
An average profit margin defined by the company must be exceeded. Exceptions must be approved by supervisor. Turnover achieved above the minimum turnover target is subject to a bonus scheme.
Coverage: UK
To work closely with Account Managers who will fulfil and invoice your customers’ orders.
You are based in Alford, Lincolnshire and while not travelling you are required to work from the Alford office. This is expected to be on 1 to 2 days a week.
This is a salaried contract and there is an expectation that additional hours will be worked where required.
The role includes a company car that can be used privately as well. Private mileage needs to be accounted for.
