<h2>Overview</h2>

<p>Responsible for the introduction, development, presentation and maintenance of new and existing product listings on Safelincs sites and dealing with suppliers in tandem with the rest of the Products Team. When required, support the customer service team with product and supplier information, have contact with suppliers to develop and maintain product ranges and provide relevant product training to other members of staff.</p>

<p><strong>Location:</strong> Alford, Lincolnshire</p>

<h2>Roles and Responsibilities</h2>

<h3>Product Management</h3>

<ul>
<li>Identify new and profitable products suitable for Safelincs and sister product ranges</li>
<li>Successfully introduce new products into our portfolio</li>
<li>Improve current listings based on relevant data</li>
<li>Be in direct contact with suppliers to maintain and develop relationships</li>
<li>Peer-review product listings</li>
<li>Take part in product related meetings</li>
<li>Edit and make website changes where necessary</li>
<li>Monitor the Product Dept. email account for product updates and action as necessary</li>
<li>Carry out price comparisons to ensure Safelincs are placed correctly in the market</li>
<li>Carry out content reviews and maintain content throughout website portfolio</li>
<li>Become a specialist of specific product ranges and extend knowledge of product lines</li>
<li>Generate unique, appropriate content (blogs, articles etc.) in line with Safelincs procedures</li>
</ul>

<h3>Customer Service Support</h3>

<ul>
<li>Train staff on new products introduced into the company’s portfolio</li>
<li>Support customer service staff with enquiries and product information</li>
<li>Where necessary, take customer calls or emails and deal with their enquiries in a professional manner</li>
<li>Support customer service staff with online chat system</li>
<li>Respond to customer contact through phone, fax or e-mail on the same day as the enquiry</li>
<li>Deal with customer and company information with strict confidence</li>
<li>Deal with customer complaints in a sympathetic and supportive manner</li>
</ul>

<h3>Internal Audits</h3>

<ul>
<li>Carry out internal audits</li>
</ul>

<h3>Amazon Backup Deputy</h3>

<ul>
<li>Provide sickness and holiday cover for Amazon administrator</li>
<li>Add products to Amazon</li>
<li>Ensure that Amazon customers’ queries and comments are answered in the required time span</li>
