<p><strong>Maintenance</strong></p>
<p>Panic and Emergency Exit Hardware must always be maintained correctly as it has a vital role to play in an escape route from a building. Therefore, it is essential that routine maintenance checks are undertaken at intervals of not more than one month, as recommended in EN179 and EN1125, to ensure that the product is performing correctly as intended.</p>
<p><strong>Regular checks should include:-</strong></p>

<li>Make sure that the exit device functions as intended</li>
<li>Any damaged components should be replaced</li>
<li>Any loose fixings should be tightened</li>
<li>Any worn components should be replaced</li>
<li>Ensure no obstructions are preventing the hardware from functioning</li>
