<h2>Overview</h2>
<p>You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the fire safety services department and overseeing the work of the services co-ordinator, the fire safety engineers and sub-contractors. In this role you will also be responsible for the continuous development of the company’s services.</p>

<p><strong>Location:</strong> Alford, Lincolnshire</p>

<h2>Roles and Responsibilities</h2>

<h3>General Tasks</h3>

<ul>
<li>Be the central point of contact for all fire safety services activities and developments</li>
<li>Improve Safelincs’ systems to maximise sales and profitability</li>
<li>Represent Safelincs’ at related industry meetings</li>
<li>Answer customer enquiries and raise invoices/quotes</li>
<li>Be responsible for maintaining and enforcing procedures</li>
<li>Ensure that all relevant paperwork is completed in a timely fashion</li>
<li>Arrange training and audits of fire safety engineers to comply with ISO 9001 requirements</li>
</ul>

<h3>Staff Management</h3>
<ul>
<li>Perform appraisals and manage individual targets that are set</li>
<li>Carry out disciplinary measures in partnership with HR Manager</li>
<li>Manage the in-house team of fire safety engineers, ensuring that they are working as effectively as possible</li>
<li>Ensure engineers adhere to all H&S practices and maintenance check</li>
<li>Oversee engineer rotas and ensure large projects are allocated adequate resources</li>
<li>Carry out  aspects of recruitment in partnership with HR Manager</li>
</ul>

<h3>General</h3>
<ul>
<li>Always represent the company in a professional manner in all communications and at all meetings and networking events</li>
<li>Maintain the ethos of the company at all times</li>
<li>Required to work flexible hours between 8.00am and 6:00pm</li>
<li>Required to work overtime as and when required</li>
</ul>

The role covers all of our fire safety services, such as installation, inspection and maintenance of equipment as well as training provision.</p>

<p>No fire safety experience is required, however experience of managing a team is essential.</p>
