The Regulatory (Fire Safety) Reform Order 2005 requires employers to carry out Fire Risk Assessments and to install fire extinguishers following a range of guidance documents. The Order also specifies annual maintenance of fire fighting equipment by a competent person.

This service is optional, as there is currently no legal requirement for a formal installation or commissioning. However, please note that the latest British Standard now require commissioning of fire extinguishers by a competent person.

If you have a new site and are unsure which fire extinguishers and fire blankets you require, we can send you a Service Technician for a site-survey. He/she will then recommend the correct cover according to the relevant British Standards. There is a charge of £27.00 incl VAT (£22.98 ex VAT) for this survey. If you proceed with the recommendations of the survey, either on the same day or at a future date, and purchase the extinguishers and installation from us, we will not charge you a second call-out fee.
