<p>Responsible for the smooth running of the packing bay, De Raat area and amazon/airbnb rooms. Ensure that all tasks are completed in the time frame given. You will be responsible for cleanliness and safety of packing area and De Raat area as well as for re-stocking of De Raat products. You are also expected to take part in packing and shipping of orders.</p>

<h2>Roles and Responsibilities</h2>

<h3>Team Leader</h3>

<ul>
<li>Manage the packing team and ensure that all targets are met</li>
<li>Manage ideas and feedback from the team constructively, liaising with Warehouse Manager</li>
<li>Enforce H&S within the packing team and report any H&S issues</li>
<li>Liaise with fellow Team Leader and Warehouse Manager to ensure smooth running of teams and warehouse, fostering and maintaining good communications</li>
<li>Participate in the induction process of new staff and in probation and appraisal reviews alongside Warehouse Manager</li>
<li>Cover for fellow Team Leader with regards to Goods Inwards, stock locations, shredding area</li>
</ul>

<h3>Packing and shipping</h3>

<ul>
<li>Participate in collection of orders from sales office and arrange shipping of orders</li>
<li>Enforce barcoder quality scanning out checks</li>
<li>Pick and pack orders using specified systems</li>
<li>Accurate processing of International and Pallet shipments</li>
<li>Manage packing bay outputs and team of staff</li>
</ul>

<h3>Reporting/Routine Checks</h3>
<ul>
<li>Monthly reporting of team and individual packing/shipping performances</li>
<li>Daily reporting of hours worked per person and total shipment quantities</li>
</ul>

<h3>General</h3>
<ul>
<li>Stock control – participation at stock takes as when required</li>
<li>Reporting of damaged goods</li>
<li>Always act in a responsible manner</li>
</ul>

<h3>Health and Safety of the Packing and De Raat areas</h3>
<ul>
<li>Disposal of unwanted packaging materials in adherence to environmental policy</li>
<li>High visibility work wears to be worn at all times</li>
<li>Ensuring general cleanliness, tidiness and safety of the packing and De Raat areas at all times, and reporting of any potential hazards</li>
<li>Ensure all activities are carried out in a safe manner, reporting any unsafe practice to H&S Manager</li>
<li>Make improvements to H&S provision in the warehouse</li>
<li>Ensure anyone in the warehouse is adhering to H&S practices</li>
</ul>

<h2>Hours</h2>
<p>This is a full time role, you will be working within a shift pattern between 7:00am and 10.00pm Monday to Friday and there may be a requirement to work weekends between 8:30am and 5:00pm.</p>
